How do I know if I’m ready?
If you read comfortably and know the core Tajweed rules, you’re likely ready. Your teacher will confirm in your first conversation.
Is the Maqamat part required?
It’s part of the program, but always secondary to correct recitation. Your teacher will guide you at a comfortable pace.
Can I choose a female or male teacher?

What do I need for lessons?
